On the tourist front, team Brennan were at Narin Beach parkrun in Donegal. Lord Ian finished in 53:26, pushed all the way by Hollie who finished in 53:27. This parkrun is in Portnoo, home of The Dolmen Centre no less! 

Sarah Ross tried a new NZ parkrun. This time she finished Balclutha parkrun in 26:40. Jared Wrennall, the drummer from Steriogram, is from Balclutha. I know. I don’t believe it either.

In other racing, New Year’s Day brought the traditional Race Over the Glens, a tough 6 mile run. Over the Glens.

The latest EAMS B2B events took place this week. Jay Scott completed the day 1 marathon in 4:51:27PB and Bernard McKeaveney completed the day 2 half marathon in 2:08:46.

The latest Born 2 Run events took place today at Tollymore. Official results next week but, unofficially (and please don’t tell anyone else) Dermot Boyd completed the 5k in 33:02.

So, this week’s tune is for all those Harriers who ran parkruns twice this week and maybe twice in one day. A report writer’s dream. I thank you. Really.
