Club Race Report – 4th September 2022
Lovely weather during the week, horrendous at the weekend. Uniformed small children standing awkwardly in front of white doors. Yup, its back to school week but the Harriers kept running and racing.

The vests were back out on Friday with the flat & fast GNR Coastal 5k:
Then today the rain cleared up in time for the NBH Laganside 10k:

But let’s forget our elite athletes taking part in the Junior Mile(ish):
Emily Murphy 5:14 and 2nd female finisher, Peter McCann 5:24, Coach Sinead O’Hare 5:47, Calum Murphy 6:51, Hollie Brennan 8:51
And finally, Bernard McKeaveney headed westward to the Waterside Half Marathon. Bernard completed his sunny half in 2:03:17.
It may not be obvious from the times above but the big news of the week is that the 10k crown in Brennan Towers has changed hands after that PB. So this week’s tune is for the Lord. Impressive Ian but probably not clever.
Until next week, behave.
